The hardness of P20, a pre-hardened plastic mold steel, ranges from 240-280 BHN. This steel exhibits uniform hardness throughout large cross sections and offers advantages such as good weldability, minimal increase in hardness during welding, the ability to achieve a smooth mirror-like polish, and reduced streak texture for easier finishing. The supplied hardness of this steel is within the range of 240-280 BHN. Stock Availability of Plastic Mould Steel: P20 grade steel materials are normally available in the forms of Round and Flat. We supply these materials as per our Customer’s cutting requirement. Applications of Plastic Mould Steel: Plastic mould steel equivalent to DIN 2311 used for die holders, zinc die, casting dies, backers, bolsters, injection moulds, mould frames of plastic moulds, Shoe Blocks, pressure casting moulds, recipient sleeves etc.
