Alloy Steel EN41B is a nitriding steel made of chromium, aluminum, and molybdenum. This case-hardening steel has strong wear resistance, as well as toughness and ductility. This alloy steel can achieve case hardnesses of up to 68 Hrc. It is also known as nitrating steel. It is toughened to a specific depth depending on the application in nitrating treatment to improve wear resistance and impact load on material.
